GWAS 2012
Join us for the largest AOBA-certified regional alpaca show west of the Mississippi, with an exciting array of events and seminars surrounding the shows to provide you with a fun and productive weekend. In 2011, alpaca breeders from 29 states brought their best alpacas for outstanding competition in 3 rings with over 300 farms and over 1000 alpacas in the barns.
For 2012, we anticipate meeting and exceeding the number of alpacas, limited only by the number of stalls available. Limit of six (6) stalls per farm & three (3) alpacas per stall, including crias.

Early Bird $25 discount per stall: Stall orders & payment postmarked on or before January 30, 2012
Show registrations: Closes on April 5, 2012
Spin-Off: Deadline for entries must be postmarked February 24, 2012, but please send as soon as possible to facilitate judging.

Fiber Arts
WE WANT TO SEE YOUR KNITTING, CROCHETING, FELTING, WEAVING, SPINNING

There will again be a Judge’s Choice Ribbon awarded. There will also be a People’s Choice Award Ribbon awarded in the three following categories: adult, youth and handspun skeins.
So if you have not begun your project yet, it’s not too late. It’s only $15 to enter and youth entries (18 and under) are FREE!
You can register by going to the online registration or with the forms below. Barb will also be accepting registrations at check-in on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 between 1pm and 5pm and also by mail.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to help with scoring the entries. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a world known fiber artist. Judging is only on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM and will be completed by early afternoon. If there are times when you are not showing, and can spare an hour or two, please consider volunteering an hour or two and come learn from a great fiber artist.
