Please color check your fleeces and alpacas at skin level with the ARI color chart, rather than relying on the color listed on the registration certificate. All colors will be verified at check-in!

SHOW CLASS DIVISIONS:
101 - 256 Shorn Classes
301 - 456 Full Fleece Classes
501 - 656 Composite Classes
701 - 875 Group Classes

AGE DIVISIONS:
Are based on the alpaca's age on first day of JUDGING of the show (for Fall Festival 2007 this is November 10, 2007)

Juvenile: 6 months through 12 months
DOB 11/11/06 through 5/10/07
Yearling: 1st birthday through 24 months
DOB 11/10/06 through 11/11/05
2 Year Old plus: 2nd birthday and older
DOB 11/10/05 or before
[Three Plus may be offered if 4 or more alpacas
of 3+ years are entered per class.]

SHORN CLASS:

  • Staple length shall not exceed 2 inches on neck, blanket, and legs to the knee/hock on huacayas, and not exceed 3 inches on suris. Longer lengths around the head will not be allowed more than 2 inches below the jaw line.
  • Shorn classes will be shown separately from composite and full fleece classes UNLESS the number of entries only qualifies this show as an AOBA level 1 show.
  • Shorn classes are divided by colors as well as age and gender

COMPOSITE SHOW:

  • See Composite Show Rules
  • Color championships will be offered in composite classes if the number meets minimum requirements.
FULL FLEECE SHOW:
  • An animal should be entered here if its staple length exceeds 2 inches on neck, blanket, and legs to the knee/hock on huacayas, 3 inches on suris.
  • Color championships will be offered in full fleece classes if the number meets minimum requirements

Optional Halter Classes are full fleece classes. All entries in these classes must be shown in their respective (101-656) show classes to be eligible. Sire and Dam need not be shown to be entered in this class, and are not shown with their offspring in the class.
